Cricket today announced the availability of the new Cricket CROSSWAVE portable WiFi device from Huawei.
The dual mode EVDO/WiFi CROSSWAVE can connect with up to three devices at the same time and is compatible with most devices that support WiFi 802.11b/g including Windows 2000, XP, Vista and 7 and Mac OS X10.4.11 to 10.6.3
The Cricket CROSSWAVE will be paired with Cricket’s unlimited, all-inclusive prepaid broadband service plans. Cricket’s 3G network provides download speeds up to 1.4 Mbps.
The CROSSWAVE is just 4-inches in height, less than a half-inch thick and weighsless than three ounces. The modem supports connectivity while plugged into a standard power outlet or USB port and has a battery life of nearly 3 hours active use and 90 hours of standby time.

Starting Friday, October 15, Cricket will offer the CROSSWAVE at a suggested MSRP of $149.99 in Cricket branded retail stores, select dealers www.mycricket.com.
