Cricket Announces the ZTE Grand X Max+ at CES – Hits Stores on January 9,

Cricket Wireless and ZTE have debuted the next-generation ZTE Grand X Max+ at CES.   Grand X Max+ is a 4G LTE (CAT4) Android phone.

Beginning January 9, the ZTE Grand X Max+ will be available exclusively at Cricket Wireless in stores and online for for $199.99.

“We’re starting off the year with a massive 6” HD smartphone that delivers value without compromise to our customers,” said Jennifer Van Buskirk, president of Cricket Wireless. “In addition to no-annual contract plans starting at $35 per month after $5 credit for using Auto Pay* including taxes and fees, Cricket Wireless will continue to roll out a growing number of 4G LTE smartphones in 2015 because we know that’s what our customers want.”

The ZTE Grand X Max+ is the third 4G LTE device from ZTE at Cricket. The phone sports a 13 MP rear-facing camera with 4x zoom and LED flash, 5 MP wide-angle front-facing camera for video chats, selfies, Hangouts and HD video. The camera is designed with the average picture taker in mind and also has more advanced settings that enable professionals to customize their image before and after snapping the picture.

During the ZTE press conference this will a feature they were very proud of. Both ZTE and Cricket want to bring today’s top tech in smartphones to pre-paid customers.

Cricket offers to all customers apps that help them manage their monthly bill, enable users to quickly find and connect for free to 14 million curated Wi-Fi hotspots across the U.S.
