Creative has expanded its audio products with several new headphones that focus on wireless connectivity via Bluetooth. The WP-450, WP-350 and WP-250 models integrate “invisible” microphones, enabling users to place and answer phone calls when the headphones are paired with a smartphone or other handset with Bluetooth capabilities.

The WP-450 headphones represent the high-end offering, with call and playback controls located on the outside housing of the ear cover. The headphones feature faux leather ear cushions, processing for noise suppression and speech enhancement, and an integrated battery claimed to reach eight hours of music playback or nine hours of talk time.

The WP-350 is built with the same basic design as the current WP-300 headphones, but with a built-in microphone. Both models can be folded flat for portability, while playback time matches that of the WP-450.

The entry-level WP-250 headphones transition to a smaller form with an in-ear, behind-the-neck design. Call and playback controls, including volume adjustments, are located directly on the earbud.

The WP-450 and WP-250 are expected to ship in September for $130 and $60, respectively, while the WP-350 will arrive later this month for $100.
