Corsair has taken its compact gaming case that was originally released in January and added a large side window that gives PC builders the ability to demonstrate their modding skills while also showcasing internal PC components. The windowed version of the 300R adds an additional cost of $10.00 to the case, which will bring up the discussion to many enthusiast; “Do I pay the extra $10.00 or do I just modify the original 300R with a side window of my choosing?”

The Carbide Series 300R measures 19.1″ x 8.3″ x 17.7″ and features three tool-free optical drive bays and four tool-free hard drive bays with integrated 2.5″ SSD compatibility. There’s room for high-end GPUs of up to 17.71″ in length, so your GTX 690 or Radeon HD 6990 will fit without issue. It utilizes a matte black interior that incorporates Corsair’s unique cable routing system to keep wires and cables out of sight for improved airflow. The 300R comes with intake and exhaust fans, with room for five additional fans including dual side-mounted fans for direct GPU cooling. It offers integrated dust filters on the front and bottom intakes that are easily removable for PC cleaning.
