Christian Cooke (Love, Rosie) is set to join Frank Grillo and Anthony Mackie in the remake of Fred Cavaye’s 2010 French crime drama feature Point Blank at Netflix.
The story follows an emergency room nurse (Mackie) and a wanted murder suspect (Grillo) as they go toe to toe with rival gangsters and corrupt cops in a deadly race to save the lives of the nurse’s wife and unborn son whom have been kidnapped by the suspect’s brother (Cooke).
Marcia Gay Harden Teyonah Parris, Boris McGiver, and Markice Moore also star in the Joe Lynch-directed film from a script by Adam G. Simon. Joe Carnahan and Grillo are producing.
