The first trailer for Season 2 of “How To Get Away with Murder” has arrived (you can see it below), and when the whodunnit phenomenon returns, a major question will be answered — who is Rebecca’s (Katie Findlay) killer?
In the Season 1 finale this past February, Rebecca’s lifeless body was found under the staircase in Annalise Keating’s (Emmy-nominated Viola Davis) home. According to the new video, posted Friday by ABC on Twitter, the cliffhanger that ended the freshman season won’t be left up in the air for long — but, of course, another big twist will be introduced. Talking to an undisclosed figure, Keating screams, “Now that you’ve done this, you’re a monster!”
As for Rebecca’s killer, the season teaser pans over each member of the Keating Five, plus Keating’s staffers Bonnie (Liza Weil) and Frank (Charlie Weber), who, in the Season 1 ender, was revealed to be the killer behind Lila Stangard’s murder, which was the big mystery of the first set of episodes. After the February episode, Weber talked about what to expect in Season 2, now that viewers know he killed Lila.
“I’ve always been fascinated by the relationship between Frank and Annalise and why he’s so loyal to her and why he agrees to commit felony after felony,” Weber said. “All she has to do is ask, and he just goes and does it. I really love that about him. I have my own theory about that, but I’m really looking forward to delving into all those relationships, and now we’ll have to get into Frank and Sam (Tom Verica) and how this all ties together.”
Season 2 will also see new faces join “HTGAWM.” Amy Okuda has been cast in a mystery role, “The Vampire Diaries” alum Kendrick Sampson has also been cast, “X-Men’s” Famke Janssen will play a brilliant defense attorney who takes her job very seriously and “Supernatural’s” Matt Cohen will play Levi, a sexy, edgy, working-class guy.
