Canon has introduced three all-in-one Pixma printers, the MX372, the MX512 Wireless and the MX432 Wireless. The two wireless enabled devices both support AirPrint allowing users to print directly from an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. The printers are also accompanied by a companion mobile app, Canon Easy-PhotoPrint that is available for both iOS and Android based smartphones and tablets and now allows users to print PDFs created directly on the devices, not just photos as previously.

To aid user access to both the ink and paper, Canon has brought the new printers to market with a design it calls FastFront. Each printer utilizes the Canon’s two-cartridge ChromaLife 100 ink system3, which includes one black cartridge and one color cartridge. With the exposed user interface, users can scan or copy documents without the document blocking the control panel and buttons.

The Pixma MX512 and the MX432 wireless printers can deliver output at around 9.7 ipm for black-and-white documents and around 5.5 ipm for color prints. The Pixma MX372 printer provides output at approximately 8.7 ipm for black-and-white documents and around 5.0 ipm for color. All three of the printers can produce a 4×6-inch borderless photo in 46 seconds each.

The Canon Pixma MX512 wireless is retailing for $150, the Pixma MX432 wireless is going for $100, while the Pixma MX372 can be had for $80. The AirPrint function works out of the box with the iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPod touch (3rd generation and later) running using iOS 4.2 or later.
