Camtasia for Mac Coming August 25

TechSmith today announced that Camtasia for Mac will be available August 25 for download and purchase. With Camtasia for Mac, customers can create professional and engaging presentations, demonstrations, screencasts, training and marketing videos in HD quality to reach audiences online, on Apple portable media devices, and on popular video sharing sites like YouTube.

Camtasia for Mac records exactly what a user sees on their computer screen, what they say, and how they interact with any website or Mac-based application such as Keynote and PowerPoint. Users can then edit the interactive content and share it online, on Screencast.com, on CDs or DVDs, or via iTunes for playback on Apple portable media players such as the iPod, iPhone and iPod touch.

TechSmith will be offering a special introductory price of $99.00 through the end of the year for a single user license, and a full-featured 30-day free trial.

System Requirements

Camtasia for Mac supports Mac OS X 10.5.6 or later, including support for Snow Leopard. Web cameras and microphones for capturing audio and video are available for purchase separately. After the special introductory price of $99.00, Camtasia for Mac will have a suggested retail price of $149.
