Electronic Arts will launch the first downloadable content for first-person shooter Battlefield 3 next month.
According to a blog post from studio DICE, “Back to Karkand” will be available in December for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners.
Players who purchased the limited edition of Battlefield 3 or pre-ordered the game get the download for free. Otherwise, it will cost $15.
The download features four maps from predecessor Battlefield 2 remastered using the third game’s upgraded tech engine.
