Audi Kills TT And R8 As It Moves To Become An EV Powerhouse

Audi plans to have 20 all-electric models by 2025 But in the to an EV future, the German audio firm will kill the TT and R8 sports cars since they fit into the future lineup of EVs.

The very popular TT was introduced in 1998, while the Audi R8 mid-engine, 2-seater sports car came along in 2006. it takes 70 workers fit 5,000 different parts by hand to make an R8.

Audi’s goal is to become a CO2-neutral company, so neither sport really working into the plan.

The R8 became the personal vehicle for Tony Stark throughout six films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe,. With Tony now being dead, we here at ToT guess the Audi felt it was time to put an end to his car, as well.
