Apple Has hired Former director of security architecture at One Laptop per Child (OLPC) Ivan Krstic to work on hardering OSX. Krstic ia a well-respected no BS software engineer who was the major designer of the Bitfrost security specification for the OLPC initiative.
He comes to Apple at a time where more and more of the genernal public is learning that its rather trivial to launch exploits against the Mac. Apple still pushes in its ads that it has less problems with virus and attacks than Windows.
