Apple has canceled its  long delayed AirPower wireless charger.   Apple said it could reach their “high standards” for the product.

“After much effort, we’ve concluded AirPower will not achieve our high standards and we have cancelled the project. We apologize to those customers who were looking forward to this launch. We continue to believe that the future is wireless and are committed to push the wireless experience forward,” said Apple SVP of hardware engineering in a statement released to TechCrunch.

Apple had promised great features features other Qi changers do not have.  The AirPower would  charge up to three devices at once with unique beamforming technology witch let users power up their iPhone, Apple Watch or Apple Watch, AirPod headphones without having to find an exact sweet spot on the pad.  Plus your iPhone could display power on all three charging devices.
