Apple’s 27-inch Cinema Display first announced in July, is now shipping. According to Apple’s online store, the display will reach buyers within 1-2 weeks. The 16:9 LED backlit, widescreen display revolves around a 2560×1440 resolution with in-plane switching (IPS) that produces better color accuracy and wider viewing angles.
The design incorporates an iSight camera, microphone, 2.1 channel 49 watts speaker system, and USB hub that includes three powered USB 2.0 ports. Also included are three cables: Mini DisplayPort for input, a MagSafe connector to recharge MacBooks, and USB to connect both audio and the hub.
