Adobe Gives Hints It Is Working on Could Photo Service

Adobe’s latest blog entry hints at the possibility that the outfit is about to launch an online photo storage service. It has asked its Facebook subscribers about how they manage and back up their photo collections as if to prove their point that they need a “simple, convenient… way for your photography to be everywhere you are.” It then talks about a single place to which users can upload and access photos stored on their notebook, tablet or smartphone.

The developer stops short of actually naming the product or service it is planning. It will use Photoshop editing technology to help in quick fixes for the photos, however. Adobe aims to tie in the three devices users most often view, edit and share photos on. It promises more updates on its efforts soon.

Adobe already has a limited form of cloud image editing through Photoshop Express on the web but doesn’t offer to host or otherwise share photos itself.
