Digital Chocolate, today announced that 3D Rollercoaster Rush is now available on Apple’s App Store. Adapted specifically for iPhone and iPod touch, this game will thrill players with its stunning 3D graphics and expertly crafted tracks with realistic coaster physics.

3D Rollercoaster Rush comes with 40 different roller coaster tracks set in the Wild West, each with a Challenge Race Mode where you can play against the designer of the game! The game leverages the devices’ accelerometer feature allowing players to easily accelerate and brake by tilting the device to make the carts go faster and slower
I downloaded the trial version of this game and thought it was pretty fun. The graphics are eye catching and the tracks that I’ve checked out so far all give the passengers quite a thrill ride! You control the carts with tilt angle, tilting forward to make them go faster and backward to make them slow down. While it’s easy to start out, controlling the carts as the tracks get more complicated takes some pretty subtle movements, so the game provides a good challenge for both newbie and experienced casual gamers. When the cart pulls a jump that’s too hard or takes a corner too fast, the riders are catapulted out, but they each have a parachute to help them land safely, so the that makes what I’ve seen of the game so far kid friendly as well.
