Netflix Adds More Instant Movies for February

We’ll help you out of that funk by keeping you entertained for almost no money(just the cost of a subscription.) We have got a list of the best new movies hitting Netflix Instant in February. Read on for what you should add to your queue this month.

 

February 1

‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ – Starring Matthew Broderick, Alan Ruck, and Jennifer Grey. A slacker and his two friends take the day off from school and get into shenanigans while trying to dodge their principal.

‘Bad Boys’ – Starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Two Miami cops have to protect a murder witness while trying to bring down a heroin dealer.

‘The Prophecy’ – Starring Christopher Walken, Elias Koteas, and Virginia Madsen. While a war rages in heaven, the angel Gabriel comes down to Earth to collect the soul he believes will stop it.

‘Jingle All the Way’ – Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rita Wilson, and Phil Hartman. A father who forgets to buy his son an important action figure for Christmas goes head to head with a postal service worker out to find the same.

‘eXistenZ’ – Starring Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jude Law, and Sarah Polley. When assassins attack her, a game designer has to take a marketing employee into the virtual world of her latest creation to find out if it’s been compromised from the inside.

‘Scrooged’ – Starring Bill Murray, Karen Allen, and John Forsythe. A selfish television executive is haunted by three spirits on Christmas Eve in this clever re-imagining of ‘A Christmas Carol.’

‘Species’ – Starring Natasha Henstridge, Michael Madsen, and Ben Kingsley. Scientists use a message from space to modify human DNA, creating a dangerous and beautiful alien life form.

‘The Naked Gun’ Trilogy – Starring Leslie Nielsen and Priscilla Presley. Policeman Frank Drebin tries to stop criminals in this wacky spoof trilogy.

‘The Gift’ – Starring Cate Blanchett, Keanu Reeves, and Hilary Swank. A local psychic in a small town is asked to aid the police in solving the mystery of a young woman’s disappearance.

‘Terms of Endearment’ – Starring Shirley MacLaine, Debra Winger, and Jack Nicholson. A mother and daughter with completely different personalities try to find joy in their lives over the course of several years.

‘Trading Places’ – Starring Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy. Two millionaires place a bet that swap the lives of an upper-class investor and a lowly street con-man.

‘Shaolin Soccer’ – Starring Stephen Chow, Wei Zhao, and Yat-fei Wong. A Shaolin disciple forms a soccer team with his brethren, trying to use their martial arts skills to help lead them to victory.

‘Sleeping with the Enemy’ – Starring Julia Roberts, Patrick Bergin, and Kevin Anderson. When a woman fakes her death to escape her marriage to an abusive husband and starts her life anew, she finds it hard to hide from him for too long.

‘Once Upon a Time in Mexico’ – Starring Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, and Johnny Depp. A hitman gets caught up in a triangle of violence between a CIA operative and a corrupt Mexican general.

‘In the Cut’ – Starring Meg Ryan, Mark Ruffalo, and Jennifer Jason Leigh. When a police detective investigates the death of a young woman, he finds himself involved in an affair with a New York writing professor.

‘Tremors’ – Starring Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward. The people of a small town are forced to defend their homefront from mysterious creatures that live underground.

‘Happy Gilmore’ – Starring Adam Sandler, Christopher McDonald, and Julie Bowen. A temperamental wannabe hockey player puts his skills to use on the golf course.

‘Nacho Libre’ – Starring Jack Black, Ana de la Reguera, and Hector Jiminez. Tortured his entire life by his peers, a monk decides to follow his dreams of becoming a Luchador on the Mexican wrestling circuit.

‘Liar Liar’ – Starring Jim Carrey, Cary Elwes, and Maura Tierney. A dishonest lawyer’s son makes a wish that his father can only tell the truth for an entire day.

February 7

‘Mona Lisa Smile’ – Starring Julia Roberts, Kirsten Dunst, and Julia Stiles. When a free-spirited and liberal art teacher comes to Wellesley’s school for girls in the 50s, she tries to inspire her students to confront societal standards for women.

February 11

‘United 93′ – Starring David Alan Basche and Olivia Thirlby. This movie presents a real-time account of the harrowing events that occurred aboard United flight 93 on September 11, 2001.
