Google Play Music for Android devices can now cast to Sonos devices.
This means users of Google’s music service can connect to their Sonos music system and play tracks from their Google Music library through Sonos without using the dedicated Sonos app. Further, Sonos is adding support for Play Music to its own app. Either way, Sonos says users can blend their Play Music and Sonos libraries and control them from anywhere in their house through the new apps.
Google Play Music lets users store up to 20,000 songs in an online library, as well as stream more than 22 million tracks.
