Google has announced that Google Docs, its online productivity suite, will soon support editing via the iPad or an Android device. The update should roll out during “the next few weeks,” and at least allow co-editing of documents produced by others.
Both the iPad and upcoming Android tablets are still developing their enterprise support. Apple is selling an iPad version of its iWork suite, although it does not have the cloud sync capabilities of Docs.
