Creative Assembly finally released the PC specs for the upcoming Total War: Warhammer. However, you’ll have to wait a bit longer for the game, as the developersdecided to push back the release date to May 24.

The developers stated on Twitter that they don’t want to rush the development process. The tweet also stated that they “want to make sure reviews come out before launch,” which we take to mean that reviewers will need copious time to really get into all the mechanics and various nuances of the game.

For now, though, you can at least see the game’s hardware requirement:

Total War: Warhammer Specs Minimum (Default Low graphics preset, 720p, 15-25 fps on campaign map, 20 vs. 20 unit battle) Recommended (Default High graphics preset, 1080p, 45-55 fps on campaign map, 20 vs. 20 unit battle) 60 fps+ configuration (1080p)
CPU Intel Core 2 Duo (3.0 GHz) Intel Core i5-4570 (3.2 GHz, Haswell) Intel Core i7-4790K (4.0 GHz, Devil’s Canyon)
GPU Intel HD4000, AMD Radeon HD 5770, Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 AMD Radeon R9 270X, Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 AMD Radeon R9 Fury X, Nvidia GeForce GTX 980
RAM 3 GB 8 GB 8 GB
Storage 35 GB 35 GB 35 GB
OS Windows 7 (64-bit) Windows 7, 8.1, 10 (64-bit) Windows 7, 8.1, 10 (64-bit)

If you really want to see the epic fantasy battles with a multitude of forces, the highest configuration could cost you a large sum of cash. However, it seems you can still have an enjoyable experience across a variety of budget systems, but you will have to scale down the number of units on the battlefield as well as the overall visual quality.

Even with the delay, more details about Total War: Warhammer are coming soon. Creative Assembly noted that it will introduce fans to a new faction, the Vampire Counts, later this month.
