Adobe Labs has posted “Release 1” of Adobe Shadow, which is intended to improve the workflow of web developers by allowing various devices to “pair” with the program (such as tablets, smartphones and other devices) with their computer to see real-time previews of web content on iOS or Android. The program can be used with any text editor or IDE and provides remote inspection and debugging with instantly-updated previews as the code is changed.
Adobe Shadow will be introduced at an event following the Adobe Edge demonstration at SXSW, titled “Boost Your Mobile Workflow” and both events take place at the Radisson Town Lake Ballroom. Shadow can be downloaded now.
