Taiko Drum Master is another of those Bandai Namco franchises that doesn’t get as much attention as Tales or Naruto from the company’s anime fanbase, but has seen incredible success regardless. This week’s Famitsu magazine reveals that a new game in the series is in development for the Nintendo 3DS.
Game Jouhou conveys the news, reporting that Taiko Drum Master: Don and Katsu’s Great Space-Time Adventure will be released for Nintendo 3DS this June in Japan.
The game will feature an RPG-esque “Great Space-Time Adventure” mode. Also included in the game is 4-player multiplayer, and the ability to change Don-chan’s status through certain customizable elements. These are not detailed, however. Taiko Drum Master: Don and Katsu’s Great Space-Time Adventure will be available in Japan on June 26th.
