TremorFord’s F-150 Tremor will be pacing this weekend’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Michigan International Speedway. The Tremor is the hot-rod pickup in the Ford F-Series lineup

Where the F-150 Raptor is designed to go quick on anything, the Tremor and its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 are designed to tackle the road. The 3.5-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo direct-injection engine will produce 365 horsepower and 420 ft-lbs of torque. The performance street truck is fast, doing 0-60 in under 6.5 seconds.

Tremor is the only regular-cab F-150 offering a flow-through center console and bucket seats. Interior touches include black leather seating surfaces with red piping, brushed-metal accents and a red-stitched steering wheel. Alcantara seat inserts add texture and style as well.

The Tremor is rated to tow up to 8,000 lbs. in the 4×2 model, and the 4×4 can tow up to 7,700 lbs.

It will pace the field at this weekend’s NASCAR Trucks Series at Michigan International Speedway.

“Michigan International Speedway is one of the fastest tracks on the NASCAR circuit, so the vehicle pacing the field also needs to be fast,” said Jamie Allison, director, Ford Racing. “The 2014 Ford F-150 Tremor, with its light-weight configuration, EcoBoost engine and launch-optimized performance, is well-suited for this job.”
