Sam Mendes’ wartime masterpiece 1917 has won the top honor at the Producers Guild Award over the weekend, making the film the front runner to win Best Picture at the Oscars on February 9th.
1917 took the best feature with Toy Story 4 winning for best animation, while Apollo 11 won the best documentary.
When it came to the small screen, Succession won for best episodic drama, Fleabag for best episodic comedy, and Chernobyl for limited series.
RuPaul’s Drag Race, Leaving Neverland and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver also won TV honors.
