Amazon Wirelessis now offering the Motorola Droid RAZR
handset at a steep discount. At $111.11, it’s a savings of nearly $189 from the original $300 price tag on contract. The price is symbolic and lines up with the November 11, 11:11AM release date at Verizon’s own stores.
The price applies only to new accounts, with adding it to an existing one bumping it up to $250. Contract-free, the handset costs $750. The Droid Razr is the thinnest Android-powered handset available, at just 7.1mm thick before getting to the wider camera. It’s still sturdy through its use of a steel frame and a Kevlar back.
Specs include a 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage space accompanied by a microSD memory card slot. The eight-megapixel rear camera can record 1080p video, and the front camera has a 1.3-megapixel sensor.
