T-Mobile has given fuller details of the LG G-Slate The unit will have dual cameras to record stereoscopic 3D, though it may not necessarily shoot video at 1080P like it can in 2D. Unlike the Optimus 3D, however, it won’t have a glasses-free 3D display and will need stereoscopic 3D glasses when not showing 3D over HDMI.

The 8.9-inch tablet is one of the many expected to ship with an NVIDIA Tegra 2 (likely the 1.2GHz Tegra 2 3D) and will have enough performance to play both 3D and 1080p 2D on the device as well as handle Flash. T-Mobile anticipates it being used often to watch video with HSPA+ 3G for live TV streaming and 32GB of storage built-in; the metal stripe on the back is now known to be a kickstand for hands-off watching.

The device will run on Android 3.0,and will have a front video camera for built-in Google Talk video chat either over 3G or Wi-Fi.

T-Mobile hasn’t been willing to commit to a shipping window beyond the spring.
