Late Friday TNT announced they’ve canceled Men of a Certain Age, its Peabody Award-winning dramedy starring Ray Romano, Scott Bakula and Andre Braugher, who just earned a second Emmy nomination for his supporting role.
“While the show has featured great storytelling and impeccable performances,” noted a network publicist, “the audience simply hasn’t built to the point where we can continue the series.”
The show was averaging fewer than 2 million in its second season, about half what TNT’s more popular original series bring in.
