Google has now brought the live traffic feature to its maps of a number of new cities. A post on the Lat Long Blog today revealed that the traffic feature is coming to more than 130 smaller cities in the US and to several Latin American capitals. The feature gives users live updates on traffic congestion along roads, as well as estimated transit times.

Beginning today, the live traffic feature will be available for Bogotá, San José, and Panama City. Kalamazoo, MI, Portland, ME, Tuscaloosa, AL, and more than 120 other American cities will also have live traffic data available.

Today’s post also announces that Google has improved and expanded coverage in Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom
