The 90s are coming, the 90s are coming. A new Animaniacs series is on the way per a report from IndieWire. Their cartoon series was a major hit in the mid 1990s.
We are over joyed to see Yakko, Wakko, and Dot will again escape the studio water to come to our flat screens. We hope they are ready for the world of 16×9 digital TV.
The first series was created by Tom Ruegger and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Animaniacs ran for 99 episodes and one feature length film, Wakko’s Wish. Two of the most popular characters were later spun off into a Pinky and the Brain series, which was later crossed over with Tiny Toon Adventures for Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain.
