Microsoft has announced a new Xbox 360 bundle that will be available for a limited time this spring. Cleverly named the “Spring Value Bundle,” it includes two full games and comes equipped with a 250GB hard drive.
With a price of $299, there are cetainly cheaper ways of getting a new Xbox 360, but a physical copy of “Darksiders II” is in included alongside a download token for Batman: Arkham City. Microsoft is also throwing in the expected accessories – a wireless controller and matching wired headset. The deal also includes a 1-month Xbox Live Gold subscription.
If you’ve been thinking about upgrading and want to get yourself a couple a good games as a bonus then this just might be the deal for you. The bundle is shipping now, so it should be available via the usual retail channels shortly. Do be aware though that the included “Batman: Arkham City” isn’t the Game of the Year edition, it’s the standard edition which is kind of a bummer.
