Apple has sent out email invitations asking the press to attend an October 22nd event in San Francisco. The presentation is being hosted at the Yerba Buena Center, and will start at 10AM Pacific time. The invite features the slogan “we still have a lot to cover,” and an Apple logo on top of a bed of multi-colored leaves reminiscent of Apple’s iOS 7 aesthetics.
A host of new products are expected to be unveiled, including updated MacBook Pros and the long-awaited redesign of the Mac Pro. The focus, though, will likely be on new iPads. The fifth-generation 9.7-inch iPad is typically predicted to get a faster processor, more RAM, a Touch ID sensor, and a narrower, iPad mini-like form factor. The Mini itself should see similar changes, and also make the transition to a Retina display.
