Staples Wants to Get You into a New Windows 7 PC with EasyTech Offer

Well if you have been waiting on the side lines to get a new PC or laptop or go to Windows 7 , MS and Staples may have a deal to get you to make the jump.

Staples has partnered with Microsoft to launch a new Windows 7 EasyTech promotion.  Starting today and running through April 2, customers who purchase a new Windows 7 PC or laptop (the offer excludes netbooks and tablets) at Staples will also get several Staples EasyTech services and training ($300 value) for free.

EasyTech Services

  • PC set up – including the latest Windows updates and configuration of key Windows applications and service
  • Data transfer – Staples EasyTech associates will transfer all of the applications and data from the customer’s old PC to the new one (within the constraints of the new PC’s hard drive size
  •  Online training courses – including “Windows 7 for Business Professionals” and “Office 2010 New Features”

Basically, when you buy a new Windows 7 PC from Staples, an EasyTech associate will move your data from your old PC to your new PC and make sure your new PC has all the latest updates from Windows Update, get you set up with Windows Live Essentials, set Bing as your default search provider, and make sure all the necessary accounts are set up for you, including setting up a Windows Live ID.
