Robert Schwentke’s R.I.P.D. is scheduled to go into production fairly soon, but it would seem that the film still has a few parts that they need to fill. Earlier today it was reported that supermodel Marisa Miller will play the human form of Jeff Bridges‘ character, an old west outlaw named Bo. And now two more names have been added to the cast.

Deadline has learned that Mike O’Malley has signed on to the film as has James Hong, according to THR. O’Malley will play a ghost named Elliot while Hong will be Grandpa Chen, the human form of Ryan Reynolds’ character, a dead cop named Nick Walker. The cast also includes Kevin Bacon, Mary Louise Parker, and Stephanie Szostak. The project is based on a script by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi, whose previous work includes Clash of the Titans, Aeon Flux, and The Tuxedo, and has a release date of June 28, 2013.

Based on the comic by Peter Lenkov, the story begins when Nick is murdered and sent to the afterlife. Once there he is recruited into the Rest In Peace Department, an organization made up of undead lawmen, and partnered up with Bo. Together the pair works to find the man that killed Nick.
