Google has revealed a modest refresh of its mobile Gmail application for the Android platform. The new version, which Google will begin pushing out later today, carries over Google’s card-based user interface and cleans up the way email conversations look. New tools include checkmarks to show multiple message selections as well as an easy-to-see indicator that shows the status of Gmail syncing.

Gmail is free to download from the Google Play Store.
