Adobe has posted Photoshop Touch for the iPad 2 for $9.99. The finished app provides many of the requested creative features from the desktop version, such as layer editing and filters, while adding in elements that wouldn’t be possible on the desktop. Artists can scribble or trace to select objects or even fill content with content from one of the iPad’s cameras.

Internet awareness lets users run a Google Image Search for safe-to-use images, share projects on Facebook, or upload to Adobe’s Creative Cloud for use later. The primary limitation of the iPad edition is one of memory: the 512MB of RAM on the iPad 2 caps images at 1600×1600.

Also launching at the same moment is Project Primetime, The video platform works across multiple mobile operating systems and streams video and protects it while also providing hooks for Auditude-based advertising and viewing analytics. Primetime Highlights is currently available for the iPad and shows off video editing with ads.
