ZTE today announced a new marketing partnership with the New York Knicks basketball team. Moving forward, ZTE will be the official smartphone provider for the Knicks.
The company said it hopes to increase the visibility of its brand, as well as connect with Knicks basketball fans and help those fans better connect with the Knicks. The company will have signage within Madison Square Garden and in-game promos, such as seat upgrades. The partnership doesn’t pertain to a specific device and will be used to market a range of handsets over the course of the year.
