Xotic PC extended its line of Havoc gaming desktop PCs with a new high-end system using an Intel Skylake CPU and Nvidia Maxwell GPUs.
The “Havoc – Intel Z170M” uses an Intel 6th Gen (Skylake) Core i7-6700k on an Asus Z170 Pro Gaming motherboard. The CPU is cooled with a Corsair H75 closed-loop water cooler, which should allow users to perform a mild overclock on their systems without worrying about overheating. The system also contains an EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti OC Edition graphics card with 6 GB of GDDR5. The system will also be available with an EVGA GTX 970.
For storage, the Havoc – Intel Z170M uses two 120 GB Samsung 850 SSDs in RAID 0. Xotic PC opted to place 16 GB (2×8 GB) of Kingston HyperX Fury 2666 MHz DDR4 in a dual-channel configuration. Xotic PC also included an Evga SuperNOVA 750 G2 750 W PSU with the system, and the PC is build into a NZXT S340 case.
To improve the aesthetics and cooling abilities of the PC, Xotic PC includes the Thermaltake Riing 12RGB LED internal lighting kit, too. This kit contains three 120 mm fans with adjustable LED lights capable of roughly 40 CFM of airflow. A remote is included with the kit that can adjust or turn off the fans.
