More information discovered by Xbox One fans this week seems to point to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 failing to have an exclusivity deal with Microsoft.

Past deals between Activision and the tech giant have seen advertisements carrying the Xbox logo and DLC content being provided to Xbox Live customers 30-days ahead of PlayStation and PC gamers.

But it seems this exclusivity period could now be at an end with Black Ops 3, with the usual hallmarks missing from the 2015 offering.

Fans have noticed that this year’s COD hasn’t appeared with a green box on the Xbox Store stating that it will be an “exclusive game” or have “content first,”.

For instance, Quantum Break will be an exclusive Xbox game, while Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare appears with a content first tag.

Other changes have been noted in the build up to the Black Ops release, such as the game being tested on the PS4, instead of the usual Xbox One preference.
