Windows Phone 7 Connector for the Mac Updates to Support WP 7.5

Mac users running Windows Phones received a major update to Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac  this weekend to better accommodate Windows Phone 7.5 phones like the Focus Flash. The new update now lets users transfer the custom ringtones enabled by the OS update and also links up with Windows Phone Marketplace. Pro photographers can now sync with Aperture instead of just iPhoto.

Other updates let users drag and drop files out of the phone through the device browsing mode and add 13 more languages to reflect the expanded reach of Windows Phone itself. More general improvements touch on the video transcoding process, video metadata, the backup and restore processes, podcast and photo syncing, and importing from iTunes in certain languages. Some connection and album art issues have been patched up.

Using the new Connector app requires any Windows Phone and at least Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
