Paramount Insurge has just released the Staten Island Summer trailer, which offers a look at the original Lorne Michaels-produced comedy heading to Netflix on July 31. Check it out in the player below, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies.
Directed by Rhys Thomas, Staten Island Summer follows pals Danny and Frank, two young men who spend the summer after high school working as lifeguards while figuring out their future.
Among the many “Saturday Night Live” alumni appearing in Staten Island Summer are Fred Armisen, Bobby Moynihan, Will Forte and Cecily Strong, all starring opposite Graham Phillips (“The Good Wife”), Zack Pearlman (director Nancy Meyer’s upcoming dramatic comedy The Intern), Ashley Greene (The Twilight Saga, Burying the Ex), Kate Walsh (“Private Practice,” “Grey’s Anatomy”), Jackson Nicoll (Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa), Jim Gaffigan (It’s Kind of a Funny Story) and Method Man (Trainwreck).
