Moving from Sony Pictures to Warner Bro in September, Jon Favreau’s upcoming Jersey Boys has been put into turnaround, Variety reports.
Jersey Boys tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and their meteoric rise from blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks to one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time.
With over $1 billion in ticket sales and currently playing worldwide, the musical opened on Broadway in 2005.
When the movie will hit the big screen is still in question. Sony had a release date of Christmas 2013, but Warner has yet to commit to a release date.
