Vine today released a major update to its application for Windows Phones that brings the app more in line with the versions for Android and iOS.

The app now has more ways to import video, including from the camera roll. Users can edit their Vines by moving various clips around, as well as save draft Vines for later editing.

The Windows Phone app supports private Vine Messages, which are short video snippets users can send to one another. The app now displays loop counts, showing how many times each video has been viewed, and lets users customize their profile with new background colors.

Last, the Vine activity feed has been redesigned with notifications about views, likes, comments, and friend activity on Vine.

Vine, which is owned an operated by Twitter, is free to download from the Windows Phone Store.
