The Viewsonic 7-inch Android 2.2 tablet is now on sale through Amazon. The tablet has been dubbed the ViewBook VB730 and comes in at an affordable $230. As might be expected, it runs an older generation 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor matched with 512MB of RAM. However, a surprise at its price point is the inclusion of an HDMI port with 1080p playback and a stylus for input.

Its 7-inch touch screen is 800×400 and includes Rite Touch technology that accommodates the stylus. On board memory is 8GB, which is expandable thanks to its built-in microSD card slot.

The ViewBook VB730 also incorporates a front-facing camera for video conferencing and is integrated with Amazon services including its Appstore, Kindle app, MP3 store and Audible books.

As an added bonus, the device also supports Adobe Flash playback.
