Verizon has lowered their 2 year contract subsidized price on the Galaxy Nexus LTE by $100 from $299 to $199. This price reduction comes one day after the phone became available on Sprint. The off-contract price remains the same at $649.99.

The reduced pricing on Verizon is similar to other best-in-class phones, such as the LG Spectrum, iPhone 4S, and Droid 4. Though available in November of 2011 in the UK, the Verizon Galaxy Nexus shipped in the US on December 15, 2011 and boasts a 4.65 inch super AMOLED display, a dual core 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5MP rear camera with a 1.3MP front camera, and 16GB of storage.
