Verizon Wireless has announced an enhancement to its Viewdini video-on-demand service. Starting today, Verizon customers with an iPhone 4, 4S, iPad 2, or current-generation iPad can now download the previously Android-only Viewdini application and stream content from subscription and free providers such as Comcast Xfinity, Hulu Plus, mSpot, Netflix, Verizon Video, Verizon FiOS, Vimeo, and other TV sites to their mobile devices.

Users will have the ability to search through the various content providers for a specific video, show, or movie via one interface. The search options will also include actor names or topics. More information such as cast and crew information as well as related titles will also be available with a single click.

The Viewdini application is available on the App Store for free. Android versions require devices to be connected to Verizon’s 4G service, however the iOS release appears to be compatible with devices from any carrier.
