Verizon 4G LTE Expands to 29 More Markets – Port Angeles, Selma, Clarksburg

Verizon has announced further expansions of its nationwide 4G LTE wireless network, bringing 4G LTE service to 29 new markets across the United States. With the new additions, Verizon’s network now covers 470 markets in the US, containing more than 250 million people. It’s the most recent LTE expansion since September of this year, which saw Verizon 4G LTE hitting another 19 cities.

Today’s announcement sees 4G LTE speeds extended to Selma, Alabama, Clarksburg, West Virginia, and Port Angeles, Washington, among other locations. Verizon’s 4G LTE network will also expand in another 36 existing markets. The carrier notes findings from RootMetrics, showing that Verizon’s network outperformed competitors in a large majority of markets tested
