Toshiba’s R800-series notebooks have now been paired with prices and detailed specs. The company’s website lists several R835 configurations, including the R830 for $888.99 with Intel’s Sandy Bridge Core i3 processor running at 2.1GHz. Moving up to $929 jumps to a Core i5 processor running at 2.3GHz.
All of the listed models integrate a 13.3-inch display, 4GB of DDR3 memory, 640GB hard drives, and integrated graphics. Other common features include USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output, and multi-touch trackpads, while WiMAX connectivity is available as an option.
Aside from the 13-inch models, the company is also planning to release 14- and 15.6-inch sizes. The larger offerings bring a stiffened resin case, while the smaller models are built around a magnesium alloy case.
Prices for the larger notebooks and shipping dates for the entire range have yet to be disclosed.
