Toshiba today announced a laptop designedfor kids. The Satellite L635 Kids’ PC is built to withstand the cosmetic abuse kids are known to give toys. It has both a cross-patterned finish and a wipeable keyboard that should continue to look good and stay cleaner after use with dirty hands. It is 13.3 inches and light enough to be portable for a child but still fast enough to run modern games and movies.
Software is also tailored to the family audience. Net Nanny is pre-installed to filter online access, alos instaled is the simplified KidZui browser. It also ships with two Disney movies and LEGO Batman.
Best Buy will be the exclusive deal of the the L635 Kids PC and will have it on September 26. The price has not been disclose at the time of post.
