Toshiba is rolling out a number of notebook introductions on Tuesday, with the Qosmio X875 and X875 3D the latest among them. The flagship notebooks are meant for gamers and/or video editors as well as other demanding users. They get Intel’s upcoming Ivy Bridge processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670M GPUs with 3GB of dedicated video memory.

The latest Qosmio notebooks get Black Widow styling, which means a diamond-textured aluminum body and a red LED-backlit logo. The keyboard is also backlit with red LEDs to match, as is the 10-key numeric keypad. Both models share the 17.3-inch display, with the X875 getting a 1600×900 resolution and the 3D model upping this to 1920×1080. It gets NVIDIA’s 3D Vision 2 Kit with Lightboost to improve historically dark 3D. Users can opt for up to 2TB of internal storage.

Either system has four Harman/Kardon speakers with SRS processing. Blu-ray drives are built-in, as are HDMI outputs. The notebooks are also DLNA-certified for sharing content with compatible home theater components. The company’s Sleep & Music tech allows users to play music from the notebook’s speakers even when it’s powered off. Two Sleep & Charge USB ports are also present.

The Qosmio X875 and Qosmio X875 3D ship sometime in July, with pricing that ranges from $1,300 to $2,500.
