Film Premiere Alexander

Steve Carell, who stars in this week’s Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, is, according to a story today at Deadline, teaming with Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Ring) for a paranoia-fueled thriller.

Details are few behind the untitled New Regency production, though it is said to feature a screenplay by The Secret Life of Walter Mitty scribe Steve Conrad. A March 2015 shoot is planned.

Carell can be seen taking a similarly dramatic turn in the upcoming Foxcatcher. Directed by Moneyball’s Bennett Miller, that film also stars Channing Tatum, Mark Ruffalo, Vanessa Redgrave, Sienna Miller and Anthony Michael Hall and hits theaters on November 17.
