A free beta version of Escape Hatch Entertainment’s PlayStation Vita space combat game Starlight Inception launched this week ahead of a planned December release.
Similar to classics like Wing Commander and Colony Wars, Starlight Inception is an interstellar flight sim in which players pilot more than 30 types of fighters, bombers, and transports inspired by modern military craft licensed from Lockheed Martin. The beta version offers a test flight with a single campaign mission, while the final game will feature a variety of multiplayer modes, including deathmatch, capture the ball, and football. Escape Hatch Entertainment notes that the final game will feature more than 30 hours of gameplay when it hits the PlayStation Network later this year.
